In this conversation, there is a classification of speech acts, namely representative, because A gives an explanation and the answer given by B is Expressives (Praising).

Analysis :
These are politeness strategies (Positive), where A mentions that he is a big fan of "B" because in this situation he wants to ask a few things for the interview that is being conducted. Giving praise at the beginning is certainly part of politeness strategies
